Health & Wellbeing

Self-stewardship is essential for a successful program year. Below, you will find some resources to support your health and wellbeing. Your program coordinators are also here to support you throughout your term, so please do not hesitate to reach out!

ALTRES Benefits

If enrolled in ALTRES' health insurance, your coverage will start the month after you make the eligible hours for health coverage. Assuming you work 4 straight weeks of 20+ hours a week, you will be eligible in the first week of the next month. That coverage should begin automatically once you are eligible with no action needed on your part. No matter your health insurance status, you will always be eligible for workers compensation.
