Cool Mind, Main Thing - Peer-to-Peer
This free, self-paced, online wellness guide, “Cool Mind, Main Thing: The ABCs of Inner Well-Being”, was designed by the University of Hawaiʻi’s College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources Seeds of Wellbeing project for Hawaiʻi's agriculture producers. The training provides the language to understand and communicate when stress occurs and specific tools to manage stress. Although the training is tailored toward farmers in Hawaiʻi, the stress management skills and coping strategies can be applied to everyday life and other fields of work.
There are two versions: the "Self" version is intended to help the individual doing the module to understand how stress manifests in the body and various stress management and coping strategies; the second is a peer-to-peer version that is intended to teach the individual how to provide mental health first aid to someone in need.
